Why Black?

Black is the color of darkness.

Darkness exist in the absence of light.

We usually associate black with dark and evil, the opposites of light and good.

In life, dark period means great sorrow and pain.

Without its opposite, we cannot appreciate the other. Therefore the existence of both are essentials.

Black makes the white colored text more important.

And also, I just learned from a someone that using black on your screen saves more power.
