Cooperate With The Inevitable
- God,
- Grant me the serenity;
- To accept the things I cannot change;
- The courage, to change the things I can;
- And the wisdom, to know the difference.
- Living one day at a time;
- Enjoying one moment at a time;
- Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
- Taking, as He did, this sinful world
- As it is, not as I would have it;
- Trusting that He will make all things right
- If I surrender to His Will;
- So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
- And supremely happy with Him
- Forever and ever in the next.

Praise You In This Storm
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.
Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away
Chorus
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Just Preparing for... 100% PURE
There is a great challenge out there… and we cannot ignore it. We need to make a stand. There’s no neutral side… its either you’re for GOD or against Him.
Ignoring is not being neutral… it is being against GOD.Tuesday, July 7, 2009

THE BEST THING OF BEING A DAD
The best thing of being a dad is that you realized how much your parents had loved you.
Nathan just turned 13-month old. He now got a lot of tricks which really make everyone laugh and be amused with him. He learned a lot really! To whom? I don’t know exactly.
But you might not believe me, I think I learned a lot from him than he learned from me. Yes, its true.
Taking care of him made me realize that how fragile and much attention needed this little baby requires. As much as possible you don’t want him to get hurt or anything that will make him irritated, or even cry. Its hard to know the reason of every cry he made, with or without tears. You really need to spend time with him to know and understand what he wants.
I wonder how many parents out there spend time with their kids. Or rather how much time they spend with their kids.
I know someday Nathan will have friends, and there will come a time that he what to spend most of his time with them than with me and Irene. When this time comes, I will let him enjoy it and trust that he will still come home with us…. a result of spending much time to him now.

SERVING THE LORD
As a student leader, serving means having a leadership power. I always strive for position in any of the organization that I been too. I had the confidence that I will always be in the officer role because of my leadership ability. For me, leadership is serving … leadership means you’re in control.
But God changed my views. He showed me that serving Him does not mean having control over His people but rather be a role model for them. Because of this you become a leader… as they follow your righteousness.
Serving God also is not about your action… but your intentions. We serve him because we want to take part of His plan of Salvation. He will use you for His action… and this is what we call evangelization.
“Serving the Lord is not about you having control but rather your willingness to the Will of the Lord”- Tito Tony Meloto

TRIALS ARE NOT TRIALS AT ALL
We usually say that whenever there’s a problem, or someone is in deep trouble, that “don’t worry God is testing you”. Or is HE?
This is what I think about it, before we say that it’s a test from God let’s check first if we really did what right thing expected from us. Sometimes what we thought a TEST is really a result of what we did wrong.
After we free ourselves from wrong doings then we can now say that our trials are tests from God.
WE ARE JUST PASSING THROUGH
You might had heard this before, if not most of the time: Our life on earth is just temporary. But indeed it is true. We are just passing through to this life in order to prepare for the real life -- which is eternity
Imagine the vegetables that you are about to cook. How much time do you spend to check the freshness of the vegetables, not to mention the procedure of washing it and selecting the good ones out from the bad ones. Our life here on earth is just a mere process of preparation.
If you are a newly hired employee of a multinational company, you will first undergo a thorough orientation and training before you start your actual job. They want to make sure that before you start your work, you know by heart everything about the company and to ensure that you will work according to their procedure. The same thing with our life as God wants us to prepare “the work” waiting for us in His kingdom.
I remember my first job interview. I am fully aware that they require someone who had related experience before. Although I know that I am not qualified as per their work experience requirement, my interest pushed me to pursue to apply. By the way, the job was salesperson in a music store! I imagine myself playing all the musical instruments that on that store all day long.
Right on the very first question, I was jumbling my words trying to connect it to what my nervous mind was thinking. It was the famous “Tell me something about yourself?”. I won’t tell what my answers are because until now whenever I remember it my skin hairs rise up in embarrassment. It’s all because I am not prepared!
Performers spend most of their time practicing for their next act. They just want to make sure that when the real performance comes they can portray perfectly their act. If you are going to ask them, they surely enjoyed their time during practices even with trials and challenges. But there’s nothing more worth it during the actual presentation itself.
Our life here on earth is just a preparation for our real life with our Creator.
